This Apple Macintosh SE was used by Steve Jobs while at NeXT, the company he founded after leaving Apple in 1985 It was in his office from 1988 through 1994, all the way up until NeXT was acquired by Apple in 1997.

As you may have already guessed, most, if not all, of the sensitve data was removed from this computer when it was taken out of service. According to Bonhams, the hard drive still provides insight into Jobs and his work at NeXT and Pixar during that key time, as it was originally set up by his assistant who had worked him from 1986-1990. You can still see the weekly tasks, travel and even a missed meeting witht Charles, Prince of Wales). Though not confirmed, Jobs’ daughter Lisa Brennan-Jobs may have even used this computer during her visits to the office as the mail system and Microsoft Word are registered under her name.
