Default Evolution: New Mouse for New Apps - 11-18-2008, 05:50 AM

Does anyone else find it strange that Apple is still pushing interface devices(mice in particular) who’s basic design has not changed since 1982? I know the apps I am using have changed dramatically. I am not playing Lemonade Stand or Gold Rush anymore. However it appears I am using a mouse very similar to the one I used when I was still collecting baseball cards. Has anyone seen a Mac-compatible devices on the market that represents any meaningful evolution?

Unfortunately, all of the innovative mouse designs, such as the Gyro Mouse, are not Mac-compatible. Anyone else have more information?
