Roaming on Data for iphone - 02-26-2009, 03:33 PM

Recently I was in the States. When I crossed the boarder from Canada to the US with my iphone 3G, I was able to make calls, but I wasn't able to recieve emails. My question is, are you able to roam on the Rogers/AT&T data?
