Hey guys,

Any idea when the iphone will come to europe (on an unlocked carrier maybe).

I'm sure we would be able to get one in the following weeks from ebay,but it would be at&t locked.And i have this feeling unlocking wouldn't go that smooth :d

And i hear some stuff about having to activate the hardware before for instance using the ipod portion.

Alright,so i'm updating myself

I've been following the iphone coverage a bit, and it seems they will be releasing a european model for the iphone around december.

It will be an updated version too, with 3g (hsdpa).

I'd rather wait longer for a 3G iPhone in the US, but then again, I haven't tested EDGE yet on it -- getting one today.

i could use some time alone with the iphone

don't get your hopes up for the EDGE part tho..
that , and the camera, are the only drawbacks i can see in it.

I use edge on my E900, and sure , its satisfying.. But "real" surfing would be a real pain .. (but i know this,and know what to expect if i get one

)

Just a quick note, the iPhone is now available in Europe, and has been for a while, but the new version is coming out soon. From sources, it appears as if the current model is sold out.

Tough Choice. I want BOTH! But when it comes down to it, the Xbox360 has more to offer. The iPhone has a bigger cool factor in showing off the tech toy at a bar in front of all the women. Xbox360 stays at home in your 'cave'. So, i guess the real question is whether or not the iPhone enough of a chick magnet that you don't need the Xbox360 when you get home that night?
