Hey,
I just bought a slick new Canon Vixia HF200, which records excellent HD video.
My only problem is that my computer and laptop both suck in terms of processing power. Both have single core 1.79 processors and no more than two gigs of ram. Lame.

I was planning on using an editing software like Final cut Pro, or Sony Vegas.

What are the system requirements for a computer that can edit HD video with ease???

I'd say a Mac Pro or even high-end MacBook Pro (maxed out RAM) should be able to edit HD video without any problems or hiccups whatsoever.
