For those worried about security, there’s a new Privacy Dashboard that provides a single view into your permissions settings as well as what data is being accessed, how often and by which apps. A new indicator on the top right of the status bar lets you know exactly when your apps are accessing your microphone or camera. Android Private Compute Core enables Google to introduce new technologies that are private by design, allowing the operating system to keep your personal information safe, private and local to your phone.
