Any medical field has a lot of latin and greek based words, and this helped me to better understand where these words come from, what they mean, and what roots give a specific location in the body. The primary subject of this book is anatomy and physiology for vet techs, the book was very effective and gave very good information. I would recommend this book to anyone going to school for vet tech. This book gave you a better understanding on how every system in the body works together to function on a day to day basis. The book also gave you examples of what could go wrong if any of these systems where not balanced. There are many pictures in the book, which can be extremely helpful when trying to get through the heavy material in this book. There are a lot of important things in this book, that can sometimes be very difficult to read and comprhend, as the material it covers is fairly extensive, and shouldnt be halfway understood. The pictures give the reader a little break from all the written material, as well as assist in visualization in regards to the reading. This book was very interesting from start to finish! anatomy can be hard to learn if youre uninterested in the subject; however, this book has found a way to make it easy and interested to even the most adverse reader. edhn6et5y56hd
