Default Can Documents Be Trieved From A Rebooted Laptop - 08-29-2009, 09:23 AM
My laptop was stolen yesterday . The only security feature I had was the password.
I know these people can reboot it, but what i want to know is CAN THE THIEVES RECOVER MY DOCUMENTS? So I'd know the extent of my trouble.

There are applications that can retrieve Deleted files even from a recently formatted hard drive..If they are tech-savvy they might be aware of such application..T_T

Password can be easily cracked...But i guess their first thought will be is to format it.. In that case you will be safe.
