LG Electronics filed a design patent with The Hague International Design System back in May 2019. and it was just recently published on November 29, 2019 under the name “Mobile phone.” The design sketches reveal a foldable smartphone that looks somewhat similar to the Huawei Mate X, complete with a flexible OLED display. The near bezel-less flexible screen covers both the front and rear of the device. Read more for the design sketches and a hands-on with the Huawei Mate X.
You can see a narrow side bar for the camera setup, which is positioned in the left section up front. There will be at least a three camera setup in the side bar, with a possible fourth sensor / flash in the lower section. The sketches do not mention what kind of sensors will be integrated, but knowing LG, there should be at least one ultra-wide-angle lens.
