Default eBay or CraigsList? - 05-10-2008, 01:24 AM

I have heard that CraigsList is now the best place to rid yourself of useless junk, because eBay has just gone downhill due to the increased fess. Which do you prefer?

craigslist has always been on the top 20 websites as far as i remember, so yes. ebay is more for the online sellers; who do it on a daily business routine

I also prefer Craigslist, since it's easier to find local sellers.

I really liked eBay, but in the last 6 months it has really just become a store. The auction part is almost gone.

Craigslist is good, but sometime it is more hit and miss.

I prefer Craigslist over Ebay anyday - It is so much better. You don't have to wait for bids. You name your price, and that's it! I lvoe it!

For art you may want to try craftster.org, otherwise kijiji or craigslist.

I'm a fan of craigslist for reasons others have mentioned... easier to find local items and sellers and you can have some face to face contact and actually see and touch an item before you buy it. Well it may not help, it's comforting to know where you bought something from in case something goes wrong.

I've never heard of ebay's arbitration process helping out any of my friends who've paid for items that never arrived.

Craigslist is easier and doesn't require you to do paypal but there is less of a variety due to narrowing the search to local sellers but still my preference.
