Default Volcano Taco - 10-28-2008, 09:02 AM

Has anyone else tried Taco Bell's Volcano Taco? I tried a few tonight and it seems the *special* cheese sauce is just normal cheddar cheese blended with some of their patented fire hot sauce. If you need a picture check below:

The cheese sauce in the volcano taco however actually has some kick, making it possibly the spiciest sauce on their menu. But it’s not so strong that it overwhelms you. The spices that are present may seem odd for some.

Default Hotter the better - 10-29-2008, 01:30 PM

Interesting,

I was wondering what it was all about, pictures in commercials always look better than in person, but taste is bottom line, and the hotter the better for me. So was it hot, is the shell spiced up too being red? Or is it just hot cheese?

The shell is just your standard fare, and the cheese is slightly spicy, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, I'd say it's worth the 89-cents.

I remember when the "low fat" craze was around in the late 90's. Taco Bell had a low-fat menu, which was mighty tasty
