Question how to get mkv files to play on blackberry curve? - 10-27-2009, 09:20 AM

Has anyone used the Any Video Converter program for blackberry curve?
I learn that it can convert .mkv files to blackberry series supported format. I have an anime series with 28 episodes in the mkv format. Does anybody know at what settings (format, Bitrate, resolution, sample rate) i should use for curve?

I am using Any Video Converter Pro! It is very easy to use. There is just Blackberry output profile in the right panel of the sw, you can just select it and set the frame size to 480*360, then convert the videos. You do not need set any other parameters at all. Put the converted to your BB, then you are able to watch your videos on BB.

hi, figerson, it seems that you're a registered user. can you share me some thoughts on how to disable the subtitles? the drop down menu for the subtitles is greyed out and cannot be clicked, but when I preview or convert a video the program continues to add subtitles. none of the changes that I make in the options menu seem to have any effect either.

Yes, I like that converter, so I bought it. However, I can not find the remove sub function. Then I sent e-mail to the help center, they answered me quickly and told me how to do.(Their service is really good!) Please see the message below:
At the moment, our converter cannot disable subtitles from mkv files, and we will improve this feature in future updates.

Please use the software on the following page to remove subtitles first, and then use Any Video Converter to convert it.

Please visit mkvtoolnix -- Matroska tools for Linux/Unix and Windows
and download and install the windows version.

Please add the MKV file, uncheck the subtitle track, set output folder, start muxing.
