Michael Schumacher Ferrari F2003-GA F1 Car Auction
Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari F2003-GA F1 car, which proudly featuring the GA initials to honor the recently passed Fiat boss, Gianni Agnelli, fetched $15-million at a recent RM Sotheby’s auction. Based on a revamped F2002 chassis, it was designed by Rory Byrne and Ross Brawn with a longer wheelbase to improve aerodynamics, powered by one of the final V10s featured in F1 that made 930hp and had a rev limit of 19,000 rpm.

During Schumacher’s title-winning 2003 F1 season, he achieved five victories in chassis #229, including the Grand Prix in Spain, Austria, Canada, Italy, as well as the United States. The car also secured three pole positions, three fastest laps, and a further two podium finishes (Monaco + France). This made chassis #229 vital to securethe 6th World Championship for Michael Schumacher. Anyone who can’t afford a real F1 car can always check out the F-Racer Junior.
